Hendrick Polanco My deepest condolences June 7, 2014

My condolences. It is my hope that these words of the Holy Scriptures, prove to be supportive in this difficult and painful time…..

John 11:32-45

32 And so Mary, when she arrived where Jesus was and caught sight of him, fell at his feet, saying to him: “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” 33 Jesus, therefore, when he saw her weeping and the Jews that came with her weeping, groaned in the spirit and became troubled; 34 and he said: “Where have YOU laid him?” They said to him: “Lord, come and see.” 35 Jesus gave way to tears. 36 Therefore the Jews began to say: “See, what affection he used to have for him!” 37 But some of them said: “Was not this [man] that opened the eyes of the blind man able to prevent this one from dying?”

38 Hence Jesus, after groaning again within himself, came to the memorial tomb. It was, in fact, a cave, and a stone was lying against it.39 Jesus said: “TAKE the stone away.” Martha, the sister of the deceased, said to him: “Lord, by now he must smell, for it is four days.”40 Jesus said to her: “Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41 Therefore they took the stone away. Now Jesus raised his eyes heavenward and said: “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 True, I knew that you always hear me; but on account of the crowd standing around I spoke, in order that they might believe that you sent me forth.” 43 And when he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice: “Laz´a·rus, come on out!” 44The [man] that had been dead came out with his feet and hands bound with wrappings, and his countenance was bound about with a cloth. Jesus said to them: “Loose him and let him go.”

45 Therefore many of the Jews that had come to Mary and that beheld what he did put faith in him;

Michele Rote my prayers January 31, 2012
I went to Hopatcong Middle School with Amy and sadly lost touch with her after that.  I remember slumber partys as a kid and she was always smiling.  She was always the one that uplifted everyone else's spirits.  My heart goes out to her family and dear friends who have lost this wonderful person.
Alex Hersonski My Thoughts and Prayers For Amy's Family September 14, 2011
Amy was a classmate of mine at Hopatcong High School many years back. Although I did not know her to the extent of many of her friends and family here, I always found her to exude warmth, compassion, and overall an amazing presence of spirit and heart. I am sure she was a wonderful mom and wife and it is very sad, even so many years later now, to read of her passing. One of the most vivid recollections I have of Amy was her 1994 appearance on 'Oprah,' on an episode (if my memory serves me correctly) about teacher fairness in the classroom. I remember that Amy was very vocal and determined about her position on the issue and she defended it very well (on that particular show, Amy and one of our teachers at the time were invited to discuss the topic). I had missed a few days of school at the time because of a brief illness and the episode was a bright spot in my day at the time- being both funny and informative.  My condolences to Amy's family, Amy was a memorable and wonderful classmate.
Iris Glezer Weinstock Wonderful Woman February 8, 2011
I had the pleasure of being roommates with Amy at NYU.  I have such wonderful memories of her.  She was a kind, good-hearted person, and a wonderful friend.  Sadly, we lost touch over the years after college.  I am so so sad to hear of her passing, today on her birthday no less.  I am so lucky to have known her.  My thoughts and prayers are with her family.  May you have comfort in the wonderful memories you no doubt have of someone who was pure sunshine.

I am shocked and deeply saddened to stumble upon the obituary of Amy Donaldson/Campbell.  I knew Amy and Matt in High School and before.  I have two young children of my own and can only imagine the pain of such a loss.  I remember Amy as a walking, talking ray of sunshine.  My thoughts are with Matt and the boys this holiday season.  God Bless.

I know that this first Christmas without Amy is truly difficult as is each day I'm sure.  Please know that you are always in my thoughts and prayers.  May you all find comfort on this special day from within, remembering Amy as a healthy, strong, young woman who loved life and her family very much.  May you be surrounded by those you love.  Amy is with you today.  She is that beat of your heart, that air you breathe in, and the twinkle in all the Christmas lights you see.

Amy was a great mom to her kids, and an inspiration to all whose lives she touched. I am so sorry to hear that she has died. Her fight to live, and her fight for her son Owen, were so incredible. My thoughts and prayers are with her family as it continues to grieve the loss of such a light in the world. May her life be remembered always as the life of an optimist and a joyful person.

I did not know Amy personally , but have read many of her posts on her site for Owen as she posted them.  I too, have a son with Hunter Syndrome.  After looking at this beautiful memorial celebrating Amy's life, I have to applaud you all.  I know she would be proud, from what I know of her.  My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the family and friends of Amy.  Her light will always shine!  Just reading her posts and looking at this site, I feel her strength and courage...she was a person that all of us wish we had inside of us...she truly was a treasure and a blessing to all that came in contact with her.  Thank you for sharing her with us!

To everyone who loved Amy and still continues to love her each day.  My heartfelt condolences go out to you.  To lose someone so great at such a young age is so saddening.  Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers each day.  I know Amy will continue to shine through each of you.  Her everlasting presence will always be there.  May you find a piece of her each day and hold onto that feeling with warmth.  Amy had such an impact on so many people, and I know that you will continue glowing with her strength, and courage.

Much peace to you all as you continue through life, while celebrating the life of someone so grand!
